As part of the services we supply to clients hosting FileMaker Servers with Soliant.cloud, we regularly monitor and maintain the underlying operating system. To keep your server healthy and available as much as possible, we will occasionally perform maintenance and/or reboot the server as needed.
We have established a time this occurs once a week for regular maintenance and rebooting your server. We schedule this for:
- Sunday at 1:00 AM until, at maximum, 3:00 AM local time
We expect a much shorter anticipated downtime. However, this window takes worst-case scenarios into consideration and anticipates patches that may take more time than others.
We schedule this during off-hours to minimally impact your typical in-use server time.
What do you need to do?
If you’ve configured your server to open databases automatically and save encrypted passwords to open files, you do not have to do anything. After server reboot, the server undergoes a health check and ensures all required services run automatically.
