As part of the services we supply to clients hosting FileMaker Servers with Soliant.cloud, we regularly monitor and maintain the underlying operating system. To keep your server healthy and available as much as possible, we will occasionally perform maintenance and/or reboot the server as needed.
We have established a time this occurs once a week for regular maintenance and rebooting your server. This is scheduled for:
- Sunday at 1:00 AM until, at maximum, 3:00 AM local time
The anticipated downtime is expected to be much shorter than this. However, this window takes worst-case scenarios into consideration and anticipates patches that may take more time than others.
We schedule this during off-hours to minimally impact time your server would typically be in use.
What do you need to do?
If your server is configured to open databases automatically and any encrypted passwords to open files have been saved, you do not have to do anything. After server reboot, the server is checked for health and ensures all required services are running automatically.
